Alex the 2 year old German Shepherd came to me for barking/lunging at people and dogs on the walk as well as horrible car behavior. This is a little before and after video to show what results are possible when you step up as a puppy dog owner/handler and guide your puppy dog through life. Alex initially appears to be aggressive but she is actually a very sweet girl who was simply under socialized when she was younger and felt insecure. Unfortunately she defaulted to barking and lunging as many dogs do to cope in stressful situations. When you are able to effectively communicate to dogs in a way they understand what is acceptable and not acceptable it not only allows dogs to show us better behavior but also puts their mind at ease which gives us the opportunity to live a more fun and fulfilling life together.
